Beginners' Courses

The Newquay Bowmen run several courses during the year which give beginners an opportunity to try the sport of archery. Normally these courses take place on a Monday evening.

These courses provide 6 hours of tuition by qualified coaches. All necessary equipment is provided by the club. At the end of the course those wishing to join the club will need to pay an annual subscription.

On joining you would be expected to purchase your own bow and arrows, club coaches will advise on appropriate personal equipment, meanwhile for a short period of time club equipment will still be available to new members at a minimal charge.

After joining the club coaches will still be on hand to offer help and guidance as you progress in the sport. Where children under 14 are concerned we ask that they are accompanied by an adult at all times.
